hi all im thinking ov getting google crome but why is it suppose to be so good i use igoogle at min i know there two different things but what could i use crome for or what can it do please helpThinking ov getting goggle crome?
Google Chrome is a web browser (like Internet Explorer). So it has nothing to do with iGoogle. It wont make too much of a difference to your browsing experience, except that it might speed it up a little. It is a very basic browser, so if you like add-ons and a large amount of control over your browser then you will find Chrome limiting.

If you are considering a switch to any browser, I would go for Firefox.

So to sum up, at the moment I would say that Chrome is not ready for every day use. Maybe this will change a few more months down the road, but for now it's Firefox.
Google Chrome is designed to be fast and simple - it has new features such as isolating each tab in its own process so that if one tab crashes, it doesn't bring down the whole browser. It also has new features under the hood such as a radical javascript engine - basically to power the next generation of web applications. It also has private browsing or Incognito, letting you browse without leaving any traces behind. One feature that I really like is the ability to visit a site, say BBC weather, and create a desktop shortcut - you can then launch BBC Weather directly from the desktop without firing up google chrome as if it were a stand alone application.Thinking ov getting goggle crome?
Don't! I have one and although it does lots of clever things, it does them badly. (Apart from texting, which it does well.) The sound quality of the voice calls is poor, the mobile internet connection is painfully slow and/or erratic, and the battery life is dire. I can't wait for my contract to be up!
Hello,

(ANS) If you wish to let Google Corporation track every single web movement you make (i.e. track your web habits 24/7) then go ahead be my guest install and use Google Chrome. Those that do so are naive if they think google is giving this browser away for free without some form of alterer motive. Its free provided you let google collect data on you.

**NOP! its way to Big Brotherish for my liking. Google are getting like Microsoft far far to powerful and have way to much of the market share already. I have stopped using google for this reason.
