hi..
i was checking though my system to see why my harddisk is so full and found out that the folder of google crome in the directory "C:\Users\lenovo\AppData\Local\Google\Ch鈥?is alone of the size 1.4gb. i was amazed as i dont think it should be of that much big size.
so i checked in it and there r 2 folders in it, Application and User data.
"User data" folder have a folder name Cache and its size is 1.1gb.
i was wondering if this is normal or these are just some temp files of crome which should be removed caz i could really use this amount of space for my other data..
and if these files are removeable then please do tell me how should i remove them..
thanx|||just delete the cache. to do that, press ctrl+h. u see the web browsing history and click 'edit items' in the top right corner and then choose 'clear browsing data'. from the dialogue box choose evrything (if u dont want to delete sumthing, uncheck that) and from 'clear data from this period' choose 'everything.' and then choose 'clear browsing data'.
but then 1.2 gb will be full soon, so if u want extend ur hard disk space or move it to another hd if u have one.|||That's normal. All browsers use a cache to hold images and other files that rarely change so you don't have to download them over and over. You can get statistics about the cache by entering "about:cache" in the URL field. Chrome provides no way to change the cache size, but you can delete the files safely if needed.|||that sounds like it is the cache of temp internet files and should be ok to clear. Clearing temp internet files is a good way of freeing up space
