my windows explorer is often getting blocked by firewall.again sometimes, which one to make my default is the problem.|||I think you mean INTERNET Explorer is being blocked. WINDOWS Explorer is what runs your desktop, the Taskbar and My Computer.
To answer your question, all three can be browsers on your machine. Only one can be appointed the default browser, the one that opens up when you click a link on your desktop or an email, but you can use any browser at any time. In fact, Microsoft websites (Microsoft Update is the prime example) sometimes don't work in browsers other than Internet Explorer.
Because Internet Explorer is such a big target for malware, I run with Firefox as my default browser.
Hope that helps.|||As a web developer I have almost all the common browsers installed on one computer, so I can make sure that any page I develop looks at least decent in all of them. Having more than one browser in a computer won't cause problems.
As far as which one to make your default, it depends. Are you going mostly to sites that require IE? (Some sites do.) If not, I'd make either Opera or Firefox my default browser. Opera is just a bit more W3C-compliant than Firefox, but Firefox offers so much more than Opera. (Foxmarks alone makes Firefox my browser of choice. I have too many computers to keep my bookmarks in sync by hand.)|||All 3 can be installed, only 1 can be the default browser. They can all work just fine together. Each has it's own vulnerabilities with regard to security to your system and they all get updated for security regularly.
