Can someone advise me on google crome?

I was told games would go faster with google crome. Can someone tell me what to expect if i download?|||well, once you click the download button of the website, sometimes it might ask you "are you sure you want to download" and all of that stuff. then a purplish bar will appear at the bottom of the screen and a small green circle thing will show the download speed and how long it will take to finish|||i really find no difference but it is true that crome is faster and yh, more reliable as is google ;)|||nothing much
